A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of attending the official groundbreaking ceremony for the Daniels Corporation’s latest addition to Regent Park, a project named – Daniels on Parliament.
Daniels on Parliament is a brand new pre-construction project coming to the corner of Parliament and Gerrard in the North-West corner of the community, also known as Phase 3 of the revitalization. As a matter of fact, Daniels on Parliament will be the last building in Phase 3 of the Regent Park Revitalization and likely the last project by Daniels. Phase 4 and 5, as some of you may know have been awarded to Tridel.
Daniels has truly decided to put some phenomenal finishing touches on this project. After all DOP has tremendous importance to the community and the revitalization plan. DOP is the highly-anticipated project that occupies the corner of Parliament and Gerrard that also connects the new Regent Park to the older, much more established neighbourhood of Cabbagetown. Needless to say, Daniels on Parliament is a long-awaited project and it truly is special. From the striking architecture designed by Superkul, incredible amenity program consisting of 24 Hour concierge, dual party rooms, maker space, kid’s club, state of the art fitness centre, co-working space, multiple outdoor terraces and green roofs. Finishing off with the amazing sales program, where average unit dollar per square foot of $1,300 is the most attractive in all of downtown, to the amazing 10% deposit program. These are just some of the reasons why DOP sold to over 70% in one week of Platinum agent sales.
Best of all, since the builder is largely regarded as one of the best in all of Canada, we are seeing a groundbreaking happening almost immediately after the start of the sales. This is a huge rarity across the pre-construction landscape since most projects take months, if not years, to finally break ground.
